Office of Experiential Education to host Community of Practice events
Purdue’s Office of Experiential Education is continuing to offer a variety of Community of Practice events for individuals who share a common passion about experiential education and want to learn how to improve their work through interactions with one another.
The Office of Experiential Education will host at least four events this semester on topics of interest within the experiential education community. Each event will feature an expert-led discussion as well as time for networking. Sessions include:
- Oct. 5 from 3-4 p.m. in WALC 3121. Topic: “Finding Potential Collaborators and Partners.”
- Oct. 21 from 9:30-11 a.m. in HNLY 136. Topic: “How Do I Measure That? Measuring Learning in ExEd.”
- Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to noon on Zoom. Topic: “Supporting Students With Disabilities in ExEd.”
- Nov. 14 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in KRCH 230. Topic: “Critical Reflection.”

The Office of Experiential Education was created to carry out the experiential education portion of the Transformative Education 2.0 initiative. The office is part of the Office of the Provost’s Teaching and Learning Division. Anyone is welcome to join the Community of Practice.
